Circumvesuviana new timetable from 17 October 2026: a train every 30 minutes to Sorrento and every 10 to Torre Annunziata
Since 17 October 2026 the Circumvesuviana, the local train around Vesuvius, runs on a new timetable: 280 trips a day and a train every 30 minutes to Sorrento. It is the line for Herculaneum, Pompeii and Sorrento.

What changes
- Since 17 October 2026 EAV, the regional operator, runs a new timetable on the Circumvesuviana lines.
- There are 280 trips a day, with 10 new ETR 300 trains.
- On the Naples-Sorrento line a train runs every 30 minutes, as on the Naples-Sarno line.
- Between Naples and Torre Annunziata there is a train every 10 minutes.
EAV says the times are designed to be easier to remember. The Naples-Sorrento line gains four extra stops: San Giorgio a Cremano, Portici Bellavista, Ercolano Scavi and Torre del Greco.
