What to see

What it's like to stay there

Vomero is one of the most liveable areas of Naples: wide streets, pavements, supermarkets and parks, ideal for families and long stays. Getting down to the centre takes just a few minutes by funicular: the Centrale comes out on Via Toledo, the Montesanto near the Historic Centre, and the Chiaia towards the sea.

Tip: check the time of the last funicular if you're coming back late in the evening; alternatively there's metro Line 1 from Toledo or Dante to Vanvitelli.
