From Thursday 5 November 2026 paving works resume in Piazza Flavio Gioia, by the harbour in Amalfi. While the works last, almost all SITA buses leave from the taxi area.

What changes
- From Thursday 5 November 2026 repaving resumes in Piazza Flavio Gioia II.
- The site covers over 400 square metres, mostly in front of Piazza della Bussola.
- While the works last, SITA buses leave from the taxi area.
- The exceptions are buses to Pogerola and to Ravello-Scala: they still leave from Piazza Flavio Gioia I.
- The taxi rank moves to the parking area of Piazza Flavio Gioia II.
In the same stretch the water company Ausino is replacing sections of the water main. The town asks people to follow the site signs: temporary traffic changes may be needed.
