Until 5 December the Royal Palace of Caserta offers treks in the Royal Park, themed tours and children's workshops. It is a different way to see the palace, with activities from €5 plus a ticket where required.

- Trek: about 6 km through the Bosco Vecchio, the Via d'Acqua and the English Garden.
- Ticket: the fee does not include palace admission, where required.

What it means for visitors
- The palace is closed on Tuesdays.
- On 7 November the Park becomes a proper walk: wear walking shoes.
- Until 30 November you can add the Archetipi exhibition by Antonio Biasiucci.
- A visit covering the apartments and the park still takes a full day.
Tip: for the 9:30 trek, take one of the first trains from Napoli Centrale. The palace is 500 metres from Caserta station, but allow time to collect tickets.
