Sorrento Cinema Days, 1-4 December: Christmas tree in Piazza Tasso and free entry to the Golden Tickets awards
From 1 to 4 December 2026 Sorrento becomes the capital of Italian cinema-going with the 49th Giornate Professionali di Cinema. It is an industry event, but two moments are for everyone: the Christmas tree lighting in Piazza Tasso and the Biglietti d'Oro awards night, with free entry while seats last.

- This is the 49th edition, organised by ANEC, the Italian cinema owners' association, with ANICA.
- The official website lists the Ministry of Culture, SIAE and the Town of Sorrento among its supporters.
- Distributor presentations, previews for accredited guests and the trade show take place at the Hilton: that part is for accredited industry guests only.
