Capri in two days: itinerary with a night on the island
With a night on Capri you see the island once the day-trippers have gone: the Piazzetta in the evening, the Blue Grotto at opening time, sunset at the lighthouse. The plan covers 2 days, Capri town on the first and Anacapri on the second.

Frequently asked questions
Are two days in Capri enough?
Yes, to see all the main sights calmly, including Villa Jovis, the Blue Grotto at opening time and sunset at the lighthouse. With a third day you can add the sea at Marina Piccola.
Is the Fortini trail difficult?
It is moderately difficult: about 6 km between the Blue Grotto and the lighthouse, with ups and downs, little shade and almost no water. You need hiking shoes and an early start.
What are the Fortini?
Military posts built along Anacapri's west coast, fought over by the British and the French during the Napoleonic Wars. The trail links them one after another.
