- Gardens of Augustus: flowering terraces with the most famous view of the Faraglioni and the hairpin bends of Via Krupp.

- Certosa di San Giacomo: a 14th-century monastery with two cloisters and the Roman statues found in the Blue Grotto. Ticket €10.
- Arco Naturale and Grotta di Matermania: a loop of about 1 hour 30 from the centre, free.
- Pizzolungo: the seaside path between the Arco Naturale and Tragara, with views of Villa Malaparte and the Faraglioni.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Salto di Tiberio?
The cliff next to Villa Jovis, more than 300 metres above the sea. The legend recorded by Suetonius says Tiberius had his enemies thrown from it: it is a story, not a proven fact.
Is Via Krupp open in 2026?
It reopened on 1 April 2026 after maintenance work, but it often closes because of landslides and bad weather. Check on the day with the Comune di Capri (the town council) or at the entrance to the Gardens.
What is Villa Malaparte?
The red, stepped house of the writer Curzio Malaparte on Punta Massullo, the set of Godard's film Contempt (Le Mépris, 1963). It is private: you can see it from the Pizzolungo path or from the sea.
What are the Faraglioni called?
There are three: Stella, joined to the island; Faraglione di Mezzo, with the arch you can go through by boat; and Scopolo, the outermost.
