What you will see
- The votive relief of the Nymphs of Nitrodi, from the 2nd century AD: Apollo holding a plectrum, his lyre resting on a tripod, next to three Nymphs.
- It belongs to the set of marble reliefs found in 1757 at the Nitrodi spring, in Barano d'Ischia.
- It is normally on display at the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN), in the Pithekoussai rooms.
- It stays in Lacco Ameno from 16 October to 30 November 2026.
The relief is a votive offering: a gift to the Nymphs of the Nitrodi waters, already used for healing in Roman times. It pairs well with a day at the thermal baths.
