On 30 October 2026 in Massa Lubrense the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area presented its expansion plan: from 1,500 to 3,700 hectares of sea, adding the Banco di Santacroce off Vico Equense and new yellow zones around Vervece, Vetara and towards Li Galli. The strict no-take zones stay as they are.

Open to everyone: the Christmas tree lighting in Piazza Tasso on Tuesday 1 December and the Biglietti d'Oro (Golden Tickets) awards on Thursday 3 December at 19:45, free entry while seats last.

From 1 November 2026 EAV has a new timetable for line A, the bus linking Massa Lubrense, Sorrento, Sant'Agnello, Piano and Meta: every 20 minutes during the day and every 30 in the evening until 22:30. Line D still serves Marina Grande, once an hour.

Sorrento: the Sirens' Bowl is back at the Museo Correale after the Parthenope show at MANN
The «Coppa delle Sirene» (Sirens' Bowl), a 4th-century BC Campanian vase with two music-playing sirens on its lid, is on display again at the Museo Correale in Sorrento. It had been lent to Naples' Archaeological Museum (MANN) for the exhibition «Parthenope. La Sirena e la città», which closed on 21 September 2026.
